What is the one emotion that has everyone mystified? What is the one emotion that has
started as many wars as it has ended? What emotion has had more plays, songs, and stories
written about it than anything else? Love, that one emotion that makes enemies into
friends and friends into enemies. So many legends surround this emotion, from the goddess
Athena and Helen of Troy to Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet.

Love comes in so many different levels, that it doesn't appear to be the same emotion at
all, but it is. There is so much to love, that it will be hard to put into this simple
essay. It can tear people apart and make us do irrational things to bringing together
entire nations. What can this emotion not do? It's hard to tell, but there is a lot it
can.

This emotion, bring tears to our eyes when something happens to our family members,
friends, and pets. When we feel love ripped from us, as in death or being spurned by
another, we do things we wouldn't normally do, such as go on violent rampages, or mourn to
the extent that our loved ones have to watch us constantly to make sure we don't try
anything like suicide. Some can move on, always remembering the lost loved one after a
while, but others can not let go. These are the ones that need our love and support the
most.

A Clockwork Orange is actually 360 pages because you have to read between the lines. • Family Environment And The Press Are Two Major Influences Resulting In
Family environment and the press are two major influences resulting in the recent tragic school shootings. As much as society continues to focus the killing rampages on factors such as television and music, what children are exposed to in reality contributes to the violence. The most recent school shooting in Michigan involved a six-year-old first grader who killed a classmate with a .22 caliber pistol. The news coverage had vanished after two or three days, and I was left wondering what had hap
  • The Fairy Tales Of Gun Control
The Fairy Tales Of Gun Control The Fairy Tales of Gun Control When a madman in Dunblane, Great Britain rampages and kills 16 children, it was the fuel politicians needed to fire the anti-gun movement. Great Britain banned the sale and ownership of handguns in 1997. But nobody expected the surge of violent crime that followed. Britains rate of assault, robbery, and burglary now exceed those in the United States. Murder and rape figures are now getting closer to U.S. rates. Between 1997 and 1999

Does allowing citizens to carry concealed handguns deter violent crimes? Or does this cause otherwise law-abiding citizens to harm each other? Thirty-one states now have guaranteed their citizens the right to carry concealed handguns if applicants do not have a criminal record or a history of significant mental illness. So what have the

Heavy Metal Bad For The Teenage Mind Evil and Satanic, is what you would probably call heavy metal music today. Marilyn Manson, Anthrax, Metallica and Cannibal Corpse are a few of the many heavy metal groups of todays music world. Heavy metal contains music that should be more carefully analyzed by parents. It also affects the way teens think. Also this music can imply outward violence toward others. Heavy metal is a partial cause for teen violence and suicide. Numbing and influencial, teen viole
